Best Bridal Scents and Wedding Perfume
Your scent can sometimes carry over, can sometimes define you, and so some women choose to have a signature scent. Let it be said that to this day, the Dean of Discipline in my elementary all-girls Catholic school, 45 years later, I can still remember what she wears. Her scent is etched in my memory like a tattoo. Since then, every time I smell tea rose, I remember her. Very distinctly.
I’ve played around with my scent since then.
And so have other women. It usually starts around the time we get married, on our big day, when we want it to be memorable. For now, and which is what I wore when I got married 27 years ago, Chanel No 5. Classic, enduring, timeless. I wear it every time I don’t know what else to wear. I have also been wearing Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin and LOVE IT! and when I’m feeling like going out of the safe zone, I spritz on Tom Ford. Tom Ford speaks bold and modern and you can’t go wrong with Portofino for a summer wedding.
But like with anything, perfume is very personal. And once it goes on you, on your skin, chemistry does its thing and reacts differently.
So experiment, and give different ones a try until you find one that suits you.
